I activated FDE while installing Rockstor on my latest test build, but the settings gave me the impression that only my boot device was encrypted. I was attempting to encrypt the pool data, not the OS. Is there a way to turn on encryption for pool data using the GUI?
@Learning2NAS No there is currently no support for data disk encryption but we do have an outstanding issue for this by way of full disk LUKS encryption:
And some preliminary ground work / preperation towards this has been done. It is actually fairly high on my personal list of Rockstor tasks. But there remains a few outstanding preparatory bits to get sorted before I get stuck into this one.
