@Mario_Gamboa Welcome to the Rockstor community.

The error you have encountered is most likely due to your VM not implementing serial on it’s disks for it’s clients.

Their is a section on this for VMware in our Quick start doc section.

In short Rockstor has a pre-requisite for serials on it’s devices. And not all VM systems implement this by default.
