Similar to my earlier post about CrashPlan, @joshi’s pull request also contains Symform Rock-On and it would be great if interested users can give it a try and report back with feedback. I haven’t tried it myself yet, and I’ll add a “testing” metastore soon. but in the meantime, you can get going easily with these steps.
- ssh into your Rockstor box as root user.
mkdir -p /opt/rockstor/rockons-metastorecurl -o /opt/rockstor/rockons-metastore/symform.json https://raw.githubusercontent.com/joshiegy/rockon-registry/master/symform.json- click update button in Web-UI’s Rock-Ons screen. You should see Symform. Proceed by clicking Install.
