On the System Shell. Main GUI menu > System > System Shell, whenever I attempt to login as root, after entering the correct password I get the reply Login incorrect.
However, when I login as root on the server console using the same password, it logs in correctly.
Which of the log files should I inspect for clues why?
I’ve encountered the same issue. I assumed that it might be intentional for security.
If you need root access from the shell, login with your userid and then su (or sudo).
