I’m new to rockstor and i found a lot of problems to install owncloud i tried with the standard rock on that don’t start at all, and the owncloud official that start but is impossible to use with samba.
Someone can help me please
Owncloud doesn’t really have all that much to do with an SMB client, usually. Can you give a bit more information as to what you’re trying to achieve?
I’m another newbie having the same problem as Giacomo_Bruno. I’m trying to install the standard OwnCloud Rock-on using the following settings:
Resource type Name Mapped representation
Share Owncloud-config /var/www/owncloud/config
Share Owncloud-data /var/www/owncloud/data
Share Owncloud-DB /var/lib/postgresql/data
Port 8080 443
Custom user db_user
Custom password db_pw
The config and DB shares are 10GB each and the data share is 500GB. A username and password were set. The problem is that when I click on the OwnCloud UI button, I get a page with an error message “This site can’t be reached 192.168.1.159 refused to connect.”
