Hi. I’m guy with some knowledge on IT, operating systems and networking.
Me and my wife have started a side part time job on the weekends doing photo and video recording for weddings and Quinceaneras in our community. I’m doing the Video part. When I’m trying to edit 4x 4k cameras in a multi-cam workflow the computer can read so much data at once.
That’s why I’m here at RockStor forum. I’m trying to setup 2 workstations.

• RS Server1 (RAM cache and SSD backup) Dell R910
  1tb on RAM that will server an Scrach Cache for the Video temp Files
  1.5tb of 6x 240GB RAID0 - on Hardware.
  4x CPU with 10core each, 500GB SSD for RockStore -Centos OS
  1x Mellanox Connect-X 3 Pro VPI to local network at 40Gb and RDMA

• RS - Server2 (Long term storage 25TB) Consumer custom case
  16x 4TB drives on Adaptec Hardware RAID10 with 1GB cache an UPS-backup.
  1x CPU 8core and 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 240GB SSD for Rockstor OS.
  1x mellanox Connect-X 3 Pro VPI to local network at 40GB and RDMA.
