Hi is it possible to create with a plugin or backuppc a system for making a backup FROM the nas of a windows client where there is a share? in this way the backup folder is not shared and secure from ransomware … thanks in advance bruce

I don’t understand the question :slight_smile:

So you want to do a backup from the rockstor nas not from a (windows) client?
This would be the only reasonable way anyways.

But if you imagine this backup runs over night and a potential ramsonware encrypts your data, the encrypted data would be backed up the next night.
