There are some inconsistencies with the 'delete all' feature for snapshots.
1. … The button needs to be called 'Delete all Snapshots' or something similar instead of 'Delete'
2. If snapshots are accessed from the "Share" screen, the 'Delete' (or rather delete all) button is on top right (along with Rollback and Clone buttons) and bottom right. However, the bottom right is not visible unless the screen is scrolled.
![image](https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/13106797/10806541/6fba8134-7d93-11e5-8f84-586a7d3b7bd6.png)

1. If snapshots are accessed from 'Snapshot' screen, the 'Delete' (or rather delete all) button does not appear on top right of the screen with 'Create' and 'Schedule' buttons, but rather appears on the bottom left of the screen that is not visible until the screen is horizontally scrolled. The buttons should be consistent, whether snapshots are accessed from Shares or Snapshots screen. To add to it, 'Clone' and 'Rollback' buttons should also be part of Snapshot screen.

When using bios raid, such as Intel Raid Storage Technology on the system disk t… here is no system disk identification due to differences in the device naming scheme, ie /dev/md126p3 rather than the expected /dev/sda3. This causes the base md126 as well as the swap partition to be listed in the disks page all with inappropriate flags.
This has been seen in the forum in the following post:-
http://forum.rockstor.com/t/issues-cant-wipe-some-drives-no-smart-diagnostics-disk-serial-numbers-not-legitamate/820/11
I have reproduced the above system disk layout locally:-

bug
Thanks to @grizzly on the forum for highlighting. It is often the case that the … Rockstor version is not displayed in the top right of the WebUI as intended. It would be good to make this more reliable. Workaround is to visit the System - Software Update page and if there is a pending update it sometimes provokes the WebUI into displaying the current Rockstor version.
Please update the following forum thread with development on this issue.

Just a question.
The last few updates I have had the Samba and the Rockons system services being diabled during update, so that I have to enable them manually after each update.
Is this pr. design?

This may be hard to reproduce, but we could probably improve the update logic a … bit while we are at it.

Two more issues and we have 3.8-11.11. Please test away!
Two pull requests were merged for this one. A neat and pretty involved improvement to disk management from @phillxnet and a nice UI improvment from @gkadillak , good to see you back bud!

With an mdraid install (system disk) where root (btrfs) is on for example md126,… ie not in a partition, the Disks page fails to display the system disk and the rockstor_rockstor pool is also not found.
I have made a start on modifying scan_disks to account for this arrangement to improve reporting of the system disk and the associated rockstor_rockstor pool.

Instead of the green elements, I propose that instead of the green elements, the… y should be white and the font should match that of the rest of the banner. Example shown below.

When creating a group via the web UI, if I enter a specific GID it is ignored. F… or example, I create a group called "accesstest", putting 10099 into the GID field and submit. The group is created with the next sequentially-available GID, for example "10016" in the case of a test I just ran.
It appears that the GID field is being ignored. Doesn't seem to make a difference whether I choose to put the group under "Rockstor management" or not.

3.8-11.15 is now available! This is a special one where we fixed two issues that have been painful to many users.
AD integration has been broken in a few different ways with our sssd approach . It looks great in theory and I am open to bringing it back again, but many users ran into issues including Rockstor dropping off the domain, id mapping issues and windows ACLs. So, we are bringing back the winbind approach. We’ve tested it quite a bit and encourage everyone to do the same.
It has been painful to start over with a new rock-on root share because you can’t delete the current rock-on root share from the ui. Now you can! a minor step forward with rock-ons. many more to come.

I just set up alert e-mails through the RockStor web interface (running version … 3.8-6), and it let me specify the mail server address but wouldn't let me specify a port, it is apparently hard coded to 587. My mail server only runs on port 25 internally (I forward 587 to it on the firewall), so I had to hand edit the Postfix configuration to get it to work. Now I certainly could also change my mail server config, but it would be nice if the web interface simply had an option to specify a custom port.

bug
Hi,
After creating a share, when going back to it via the 'edit' button, some -… if not most- of the inputs do not display the correct data. Example: Read Only always stays on yes.
I was on my way to make a pull request for this but it seems to me this page needs more work. I'm happy to do that extra work if we agree it's needed.
There are many duplications in the .jst as follow:
``` handlebars
{{#if sambaShareIdNotNull}}
<input type="text" id="comment" class="form-control" name="comment" value="{{smbShareComment}}" title="Comment string to associate with the new share">
{{else}}
<input type="text" id="comment" class="form-control" name="comment" value="Samba-Export" title="Comment string to associate with the new share">
{{/if}}
```
which IMHO should be:
``` handlebars
<input type="text" id="comment" class="form-control" name="comment" value="{{smbShareComment}}" title="Comment string to associate with the new share" placeholder="Samba-Export">
```
And the javascript defines 5 handlebar helpers to render 3 yes/no radio buttons and 2 selects. Couple of bullets for this:
- I guess the yes/no radios should be checkboxes
- Those helpers defeat the purpose of having a templating engine. Why not use a handlebar partial instead ? Especially as the helpers duplicate the code by quite a bit. Each yes/no helper has 4 lines of html. (1 per permutation between `checked` and the option `name` and `value`)
- This is where the original issue comes from; there's a few `this` and scope confusion in the building of the yes/no radios.

T… he "on/off" switch graphic is hard to spot check when there's a bunch of them, like on the services page.
