Sorry you’re having issues… I’m not an expert in this kind of recovery, but before someone knowledgeable will answer, have you tried looking into the dmesg
logs?
You could try using the dmesg | tail
command as suggested in the error message, for instance.
Alternatively, you can use Rockstor’s webUI to check this log and others, using the Logs manager found under Services > Logs Manager.
There, I suggest to look into dmesg and the rockstor logs as well. You can either look at them separately within the UI, or download them as archive:
Hopefully these will provide helpful information. I know rescue operations can do more harm than repair if done incorrectly, so knowing exactly what the problem is likely represents the best first step.
