I like the status emails rockstor sends. One that would be especially useful is a regular storage utilisation report, giving a summary overall, by pool, and (ideally) by share. Would be configurable frequency. I know you can check this in the GUI, but having it in a regular email would obviate remembering to do so. Would reduce the risk of nasty out-of-space surprises.

I think this would be a nice feature as well. An idea that also played through my mind is to keep a time series with such information, say one record per pool per day, and display these longer term data on the dashboard. I’ve found some old code apparently written for this purpose, and it wouldn’t be too hard to combine it with an email notification I suppose.
