I am using ESXi 6.0U2 with rockstor on a SSD datastore. However, out of all the VMs I have on the datastore, rockstor gets up to 180 ms of latency to the datastore. All other VMs average less than 5 ms.
Are there any specific configurations to be aware of when running on ESXi?
Is this the same SSD that rockstor is installed to? What kind of link are you providing for the NFS share? I am currently using ESXI 5.5 with a rockstor provided NFS datastore 4 256gig ssd’s in a raid 10 separate from the install and I average about 6ms over a dedicated 10gig link.
