I’m having trouble setting up external shares with the immich rock-on.
I have rockstor share called Photos. I tried following the immich instructions here: Immich Rock-on — Rockstor documentation
In the immich settings, I clicked Add Storage. I set Storage to my Photos share, and set the Rock-on directory to /data/photos. (In that guide there isn’t any guidance on what to enter for “Rock-on directory” other than the example of “/data/test1”)
From the immich UI, I created an external library and tried to add /data/photos. I got an error, because /data is immich’s upload directory.
So as I understand it, in the Add Storage step I should have specified a Rock-on directory that is not under /data
- is that correct? or is there something else wrong?
- can I just make up any directory, like
/external-photos - I can’t repeat the Add Storage step because my Photos share is already mapped (?). Is there a way to edit or delete the bad mapping without removing and reinstalling the immich rock-on?
