@CCC Welcome to the Rockstor community.
You could try adding, via the tab option advertised on the first install screen, the following kernel boot option:
initcall_blacklist=clocksource_done_booting
from the following report:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1285235
and from the following:
https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=9860
it looks like this was fixed in kernel version 3.10.0-327.10.1.el7.x86_64.
Let us know if this kernel boot option works for you, there is mention of the R420 in that last link so hopefully still relevant.
This is only an installer issue as the resulting Rockstor install uses a much newer kernel.
Note that we also have plans to update our iso so hopefully we will inherit the fix then:
Hope that helps.
Push the button F10 when the machine starts. Get into the bios interface, and set the hard drive as the first to boot. And it works! I’m using a HP MicroServer!
