Hello!
I am planing an upgrade of my Rockstor machine, which right now is based on an sandybridge i3 (2nd generation), with 8gb ddr3, 120gb ssd for system/rockons and a RAID1 composed by 2x 3TB nasware HDDs as storage. I must say that everything works extraordinary for my personal purpose (file-serving among my LAN and some jellyfin + airsonic streaming also, always among my home lan devices).
I wanted to transform everything in a more compacted low-consuming space-saving thing and I am looking at these Mayiunda products. In special way the cheapest one: Maiyunda M1S Mini NAS (Intel N100/N150, All-Flash, 2.5G Multi-Port).
Since I really want to stick to Rockstor as I really enjoy its architecture, I wanted to make sure that it will be 100% compatible and I am asking here if someone tried it on one of these devices yet. I’m pretty sure there won’t be any problem, but I wanted to be sure, before pushing the buy button, even because I will also have to invest buying RAM and NVME Disks. According to the producer, they offer full compatibility with (among the other systems) also CentOS, which I think is what is more similar to open Suse, right?
Thanks for your help and interest!!
