Quick question on the networking aspect of Rockstor. I’m currently moving files from one pool to another. Doing this via a desktop and NFS shares are mounted. I get a solid 80Mb read/write from the desktop to a share, but when I move files from one Share to another that get’s cut in 1/2 to 40Mb as if it’s not full duplex? I have a dual intel NIC but without bonding I don’t see how to benefit multi-interfaces using Rockstor? What am I missing?
Try to use Samba. It supports server side copy. In this case, the data do not move across ethernet at all.
