Is there anything I can do to stop getting these mails (short of disabling E-mail alerts.)?

/etc/cron.hourly/0yum-hourly.cron:

I have been getting a lot of them every single day for the last weeks, and its getting irritating

@KarstenV Could this just be a system time/date issue.

It may even have drifted on the server come to think of it. But we haven’t had any other reports so I’m assuming not a problem, at least just yet.

Also which repo is this concerning?

Hope that helps.

@phillxnet, @KarstenV,

Actually… count me in. I see the same email in my inbox dating from last night for (EST):

  Current : Thu Jun 11 15:29:25 2020
  Downloaded: Wed Jun 10 09:31:16 2020

I do not see a problem at the moment so I’m unsure which repo it concerns. I have seen this several times in the past and it always resolved itself after some seemingly random interval…

Sorry for not being more helpful than that :-\

I don’t believe its a date / time issue, the computer reports the correct date & time, settings seem to be correct.

This is a problem that crops up sometimes, but as flox says, it normally goes away after a short time. But this time I have seen these mails almost every day, for almost 2 weeks.

But I havent received any today, so perhaps it has resolved itself again.

The repo is the Centos based standard installation (Linux: 4.12.4-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64).

Today the error is back in full force.

Since 9 o clock this morning I have received the mail every hour …

I have disabled mail alerts from Rockstor until further notice. I’ll have to keep an eye on the system health once in a while myself.
It would be nice if this alert system only reported serious errors such as hardware failures, instead of these repo failures.
