regularly, I see this in the syslog:

I can imagine this also happening to others. Maybe someone could check for apperances of e.g. libsmbconf.so.0 in his /var/log/messages?

it is Rockstor 3.8-12.07.
I am not sure what you mean by up to date. Doesn’t the version describe the “uptodateness”?
