Hi all, I would be interested in switching from OpenMediavault to Rockstor, I would like to know if your RAID5 is considered stable or not yet, as we read around on the internet
@mira67 Welcome to the Rockstor community.
we use vanilla upstream btrfs code and the usual advise is that the parity raid levels of 5 and 6 are not as yet ready for production. Please see out official doc section on the btrfs raid levels in the
Redundancy profiles subsection of the Pool section.
That section also links the btrfs-wiki which in turn links to a relatively recent Status page which is intended as a canonical reference.

Hello, I have been following Rockstor for a couple of months with great interest.
Now I have purchased a second hand rackmount server to hold some left over hdd’s and I want to use Rockstor on it.
