System Sleeping

Hi all,

I really don’t want to have to use another NAS solution as this seems great but i’m having an issue where the laptop i’m installing this on is sleeping when the lid is closed and i can’t figure out how to stop it from happening, I’ve used this device as a server for many years and it wasn’t happening when using xenserver.

Any ideas?

Just ran this, and it seems to work.

systemctl mask sleep.target suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target

Thanks for sharing. I was having the same problem with my Laptop. I have a few year old dell Inspiron that is going to be my NAS. Has been super stable just want to close it to save space.
