Will reinstalling Rockstor make me lose my pools or data?

Hey again everyone, long time no see!

So, I recently had to restart Rockstor a couple of times due to electrical work being done in the home and I noticed that it doesn’t come back up automatically anymore.

My last issue seems to be related to it, because calling

systemctl start rockstor-bootstrap

as suggested by @Hooverdan seems to do the trick.

However, now also my Samba shares have become inaccessible and, quite honnestly, I’ve had it with troubleshooting, so I would like to reinstall Rockstor completely, but I’m worried I might lose my pools or data. Is that something I should worry about? What would be the best way to approach this?

FYI: Rockstor is installed on a separate drive than my data.

Hello again.
Back up your configuration (which will handle users, samba share, Rockons, etc.)
Then do a reinstall of Rockon and reimport the pool (which will also restore the file share), then apply the config backup and your samba and other stuff should be back to normal again.
I’m away right now but there is a brief section on reinstalling Rockstor in the documentation.
