I currently have zone minder rock-on installed and running 9 x 1920x1080 cameras, it currently is saving event recordings to my Raid 10 pool consisting of 8 x 3TB drives. I have 2 x 4TB Western Digital Purple surveillance drives in another system and was wondering if it would be best to move the 4 TB drives to my Rockstor in a separate pool to save my events or let them write to the raid 10 pool. Space isnt an issue really just not sure the write performance difference between the raid 10 and say a raid 1 of the 2 x 4TB disks, the recordings are in MP4 H264.
Any input would be appreciated
