Brief description of the problem

I want to directly connect external hard drive to NAS server (N57) via USB port

Detailed step by step instructions to reproduce the problem

I connected external hard drive to N57 USB port
I don’t know how to recognize the plugged external hard drive in NAS server application (browser),
(I am using internet browser, windows 10)

I believe you’re referring to the hardware offered by rocstor.com. Rockstor is not affiliated with that hardware vendor. Your best bet will be to contact their customer support.

But according to their manual, there is an app for your scenario
