BUG Cancelling shut down

Using Firefox, I do the Shutdown command and get a prompt that says “Are You Sure?”.

Well, just for fun I said cancel and it gets stuck in a loop constantly asking “Are You Sure” and that’s the end of that. I close the Tab, reconnect to my 4.6.1 Rocknas backup and all is okay again!

Really, this is a level 0 bug or something to do with Firefox, but I think it’s funny!

LOL!

@Tex1954 Hello again.

Yes, this has been this way for a while now unfortunately. Quite the silly bug really. But as you say easy to circumvent. All down to human resources really. We have many updates to address in our dependencies, and more pressing bugs to address, and so this one keeps slipping by.

We have it reported (by me) from way back here:

Thanks for the report however, and I’ve suitably added you and this thread as a more recent reference.
I’m surprise it hasn’t come up more often here on the forum actually.

Cheers.

I just pressed Cancel for grins to see what happened!

LOL!

It’s not really a bug but a funny Gotchya!

LOL!

PS: Loving 4.6.1 so far! Getting ready to upgrade other setup now…

This happens in my new installation (installed a few days ago), too. However: no matter which answer I choose, the system just shuts down. I never just closed the tab though.
