We have a pending rockstor-doc pull request:
rockstor:master
← phillxnet:157_Add_drive_serial_requirements_to_min_sys_spec
opened 01:07PM - 26 May 17 UTC
Add a single line to the Quick Start page in the "Minimum system requirements" t… o indicated the requirement for unique serial numbers with a reference to this pertaining to VM systems not real hw.
Displays as expected in Chrome and Firefox.
Tested using 64bit Sphinx v1.4.8.
No errors indicated.
Fixes #157
@schakrava Ready for review.
to add this to our Minimum system requirements
Hope that helps. Essentially an artefact of VMWare failing to give drives a unique identifier by default such as is the case with real drives.
