Error running a command. cmd = /usr/bin/chattr -i /mnt2/raidpool. rc = 1. stdout = [‘’]. stderr = [‘/usr/bin/chattr: Read-only file system while setting flags on /mnt2/raidpool’, ‘’]

@adminadhaan Welcome to the Rockstor community forum.

Could you give more details about who you encountered this error. But note that if this is a newly created pool using btrfs-raid 5 or 6 then they are read-only by default as we follow our upstream openSUSE defaults in that regard. The parity raid levels in btrfs are younger and so openSUSE take a precautionary approach to them by allowing read only by default.

There is a work around for this but we should first establish if this is the case, or if you have a poorly pool as btrfs goes read-only if it detects defects in the file system in order to stop things getting worse.

Hope that helps and let us know more info around the install that lead to this error.
