Greetings
Brief description of the problem
I’m having the following question. I have a share set up which is also an NFS share as well. There is owner and a group, set for this share within Storage -> Shares. That user is automatically set as owner for all sub folders within. However I also used terminal to chown some of the subfolder’s to different group and owner that I have defined, so I can have write access for those subfolders for specific process on remote side. This process always have same UID and GUID, and I use those when i created my new user and group. Everything works fine, until Rockstor is rebooted and all subfolders ownership is reset to the ownership of the share. IS there any way to avoid that and keep new owner for some of the subfolders in that share besides some timed script which change ownership. Maybe I’m doing it wrong.
