Unable to access Web UI

Brief description of the problem

After install, the device is getting an IP address, I can SSH in to it, but I can’t access the Web UI. I tried re-installing with the same outcome and I double checked the install guide, but nothing seems to have gone astray. The device I installed Rockstor on has two Ethernet interfaces and neither of them will allow me to access the Web interface.

Detailed step by step instructions to reproduce the problem

Put Rockstor-Leap15.6-generic.x86_64-5.1.0-0.install on a USB drive using rufus 4.9, install to the device, follow the setup process, which ends up seemingly working, but I get no Web UI

Hi @TLS , and welcome!

We have seen some reports of issues with machines having multiple NICs but before going there, I’d like to confirm something more simple: are you trying to access it using https (and not http)? You indeed need to use https in the address.

Otherwise, are you seeing similar similar to the report below?

Hopefully we can get a good start from there.

I wasn’t aware of the https limitation, which seems to be where I have gone wrong. Thanks.
