@grif could you give a few more details:

• What version of Rockstor are you running?
• What were you trying to do?
• Do you already have Active Directory set up and now it’s not working or is this your first try of setting it up?
• any other services you have issues with?

added Rockstor to the domain. in one of the samba folders I made the domain group the owner group.
but I can’t open it from any of the domain computers. the servers don’t see the device at all, although the ping from the server to the storage goes without losses.
Active directory 2016. windows server 2019. windows 10.
RockStor 5.0.9-0
Linux: 6.4.0-150600.23.25-default

I am surprised that if the domain user/groups are propagating into Rockstor (i.e. you can pick them as owners, that it still doesn’t give you access).
